I ended up ordering the Omnibus because of this issue because it collected all of the stories and oneshots in order. I'm way behind the Venom/symbiote/Knull storyline currently (I'm just starting Absolute Carnage Omnibus), but it seems like King in Black is another collab event with other comic series just like Absolute Carnage did, and I was really disappointed with the Absolute Carnage trade paperbacks, I bought the Venom and Scream ones to start off with and they were really confusing and out of order, you couldn't read it as it's own thing as it skipped past a lot after the first issue or so.
